In Friday's non-league match, the visiting North Star Cougars football squad scored a good 34-7 victory over the Uniontown Red Raiders.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Northern Bedford County Panthers (Loysburg, PA) in a Inter-County - South match, on Friday, October 13. North Star will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 7-0 record after their 43-6 league win over Meyersdale (Meyersdale, PA).

The Red Raiders (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA). The Raiders enter the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Waynesburg Central thwarted Brentwood (Pittsburgh, PA), 48-14, in a league match.
