The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) and the visiting Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA), observed Notre Dame-Green Pond's football squad bounce Northern Lehigh by a count of 42-7.

The Crusaders now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Jim Thorpe for a Colonial-Schuylkill - Red contest on Friday, October 13. Notre Dame-Green Pond will play a Olympians squad coming off a 41-6 league loss to North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA). The Olympians record now stands at 2-5.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - Red contest, on Thursday, October 12. Northern Lehigh will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Blue Raiders go into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 42-3 league win over Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA).
