October 6, 2023: Silver Spring, MD 20901 In Friday's league game, the Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD) football team tipped the host Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD), by a score of 7-0.
The Blue Devils (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Winters Mill (Westminster, MD). The Falcons come into the non-league game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Winters Mill got by South Carroll (Sykesville, MD), 24-17, in a league game.
The Gladiators now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Einstein for a Montgomery County 3A game on Thursday, October 12. Northwood will battle a Titans team coming off a 2-0 league win over Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD). The Titans record now stands at 3-3.
