With the win, Paul VI upgrades its record to 11-1 on the year. The Panthers host Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA) to play the Knights in a bout on Monday, October 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Bishop O'Connell lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Paul VI (Chantilly, VA)
The Gryphons now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Stephen's & St. Agnes for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 11. Trinity Christian will play a Saints squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. John's (Washington, DC). The Saints record now stands at 1-1.
