October 6, 2023: Bogota, NJ 07603 Ridgefield Park Scarlets (Ridgefield Park, NJ) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Bogota Buccaneers (Bogota, NJ), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Scarlets confront the Glen Ridge Ridgers (Glen Ridge, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Ridgefield Park will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Ridgers enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to East Side (Newark, NJ).
The Buccaneers now have a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they host Dwight-Englewood for a Bergen County - Olympic challenge on Monday, October 9. Bogota will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Wallington (Wallington, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
