October 6, 2023: Lakewood, CA 90713 In Friday's non-league battle, the host Lakewood Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Burroughs Bears.
The Lancers (12-16) will now prepare for their battle against Millikan (Long Beach, CA). The Rams come into the Moore battle with a 9-11 record. In their last battle, Millikan went down by Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Bears encounter the Calabasas Coyotes (Calabasas, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. Burroughs will attempt to move on its 12-13 season record. The Coyotes come into the battle with a 4-17 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA).
