The Texas School for the Deaf Rangers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting California School for the Deaf Eagles to 0 in the Rangers non-league victory on Friday.
The Rangers now have a 18-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Model Secondary School for the Deaf for a non-league game on Friday, October 6. Texas School for the Deaf will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over School Without Walls (Washington, DC). The Eagles record now stands at 18-6.
The Eagles (10-8) will now prepare for their game against California School for the Deaf-Riverside (Riverside, CA). The Cubs enter the non-league game with a 2-23 record. In their last game, California School for the Deaf-Riverside dropped by La Sierra Academy (Riverside, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
