The Cypress Springs Panthers volleyball team (Cypress, TX), was dropped 3-1 in Friday's league challenge with the host Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX)

The Mustangs (28-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Tigers enter the 6A Region II District 16 challenge with a 12-20 record. In their last challenge, Cypress Park was dropped by Bridgeland (Cypress, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Cypress Springs will attempt to move on its 11-20 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 4-24 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX).
