Virginia High School Volleyball - Madeira tips Oakcrest
October 6, 2023: McLean, VA 22182 The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Madeira Snails (McLean, VA) and the host Oakcrest Chargers (McLean, VA), saw Madeira's volleyball squad nip Oakcrest by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Madeira upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Snails travel to Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Bishop Ireton lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD)
The Chargers now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Fredericksburg Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. Oakcrest will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Seton (Manassas, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-4.
