October 6, 2025: Hopewell, VA 23860 Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA), 3-0 in a league test.
With the victory, Matoaca upgrades its record to 6-6 on the year. The Warriors host Thomas Dale (Chester, VA) to meet the Knights in a Central challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 7-9. Thomas Dale won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Prince George (Prince George, VA)
In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) in a Central test, on Tuesday, October 7. Hopewell will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Generals go into the test with a 2-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA).
