McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) followers went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Woodland Hills Wolverines (Pittsburgh, PA), 30-0 in a non-league match.

The Trojans (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH). The Falcons come into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Austintown-Fitch prevailed over Perry (Massillon, OH), 29-28, in a non-league battle.

The Wolverines now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Butler for a non-league battle on Monday, October 13.
