Washington High School Soccer - Overlake nudges Bellevue Christian
October 6, 2025: Clyde Hill, WA 98004 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA) and the host Bellevue Christian Vikings (Clyde Hill, WA), saw Overlake's soccer squad hold off Bellevue Christian by a count of 2-1.
The Owls (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against King's (Seattle, WA). The Knights enter the 1A Emerald Sound battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, King's was edged by South Whidbey (Langley, WA), 1-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA) in a 1A Nisqually battle, on Thursday, October 9. Bellevue Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 4-1 league loss to Annie Wright (Tacoma, WA).
