October 6, 2025: Shippensburg, PA 17257 West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA), 3-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, West Perry moves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Waynesboro (Waynesboro, PA) to play the Indians in a Mid-Penn Colonial bout on Wednesday, October 8. The Indians come into the game with a record of 0-12. Waynesboro lost 1-0 in their recent league game against Mifflin County (Lewistown, PA)
The Greyhounds (11-4) will now prepare for their game against Boiling Springs (Boiling Springs, PA). The Bubblers come into the Mid-Penn Colonial game with a 15-1 record. In their last game, Boiling Springs edged James Buchanan (Mercersburg, PA), 10-0, in a league game.
