October 6, 2025: New Bedford, MA 02740 New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Attleboro Bombardiers (Attleboro, MA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, New Bedford moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Whalers travel to Brockton (Brockton, MA) to clash with the Boxers in a Southeast test on Thursday, October 9. The Boxers come into the test with a record of 2-9.
The Bombardiers now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sharon for a Hockomock test on Wednesday, October 8. Attleboro will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 1-1 league Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
