Maryland High School Soccer - Douglass toppled by Oxon Hill
October 6, 2025: Oxon Hill, MD 20745 Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Oxon Hill advances its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Clippers host Surrattsville (Clinton, MD) to clash with the Hornets in a Prince George's County 1A/2A/3A test on Thursday, October 9. The Hornets go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Surrattsville lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against Crossland (Temple Hills, MD)
Next up, the Eagles play the College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 9. Douglass will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The go into the outing with a 1-4 record after their 2-1 league win over Friendly (Fort Washington, MD).
