October 6, 2025: Teutopolis, IL 62467 Teutopolis Wooden Shoes (Teutopolis, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Greenville Comets (Greenville, IL), 9-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Teutopolis moves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Wooden Shoes travel to Richland County (Olney, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 10-6. Richland County 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Newton (Newton, IL)
The Comets now sport a 4-16 record. They take the field next when they host Southwestern for a South Central test on Tuesday, October 7. Greenville will clash with a Piasa Birds team coming off a 9-0 league win over Vandalia (Vandalia, IL). The Piasa Birds record now stands at 10-6.
