Pennsylvania High School Soccer - United toppled by Ligonier Valley
October 6, 2025: Ligonier, PA 15658 Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting United Lions (Armagh, PA), 7-2 in a non-league outing.
The Rams (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against McGuffey (Claysville, PA). The Highlanders enter the WPIAL AA 3 outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, McGuffey tipped Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Lions confront the Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 9. United will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Trojans enter the outing with a 4-12 record after their 3-1 league loss to Forest Hills (Sidman, PA).
