Ohio High School Soccer - Maumee Valley Country Day holds off Memorial
October 6, 2025: St. Marys, OH 45885 Maumee Valley Country Day Hawks (Toledo, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Memorial Roughriders (St. Marys, OH), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Maumee Valley Country Day advances its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Miller City (Miller City, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 9. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 9-3. Miller City won 5-1 in their recent non-league game against Otsego (Tontogany, OH)
The Roughriders (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Elida (Elida, OH). The Bulldogs come into the Western Buckeye game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Elida edged Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH), 7-0, in a non-league game.
