October 6, 2025: Jefferson City, MO 65101 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the La Monte Vikings (La Monte, MO) and the host Calvary Lutheran Lions (Jefferson City, MO), observed La Monte's volleyball team hold off Calvary Lutheran by a count of 3-2.
The Vikings (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Windsor (Windsor, MO). The Greyhounds go into the non-league battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Windsor tipped Ballard (Butler, MO), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Lions now own a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eldon for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11. Calvary Lutheran will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Versailles (Versailles, MO). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-9.
