October 6, 2025: Darlington, WI 53530 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Mauston Golden Eagles (Mauston, WI) and the host Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI), observed Mauston's volleyball team hold off Darlington by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Mauston improves its record to 15-7 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Westfield Area (Westfield, WI) to encounter the Pioneers in a South Central test on Thursday, October 9. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 5-17. Westfield Area lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Berlin (Berlin, WI)
The Redbirds now own a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to River Valley for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 6. Darlington will meet a Blackhawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Troy (East Troy, WI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 17-10.
