October 6, 2025: West Greenwich, RI 02817 St. Mary Academy-Bay View Bengals (East Providence, RI) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, St. Mary Academy-Bay View improves its record to 7-5 on the season. The Bengals host Westerly (Westerly, RI) to meet the Bulldogs in a Division 2 test on Wednesday, October 8. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 11-0. Westerly won 3-0 in their recent league test against Prout (Wakefield, RI)
The Scarlet Knights now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barrington for a Division 2 test on Tuesday, October 14. Exeter-West Greenwich will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
