New York High School Volleyball - Mahopac over Peekskill
October 6, 2025: Peekskill, NY 10566 The Mahopac Wolf Pac (Mahopac, NY) volleyball knocked off the host Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY), 3-0 in Monday's league match.
Next up, the Wolf Pac confront the Arlington Admirals (LaGrangeville, NY) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 10. Mahopac will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
The Red Devils (6-10) will now prepare for their match against Carmel (Carmel, NY). The Rams enter the bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Carmel fell by Maria Regina (Hartsdale, NY), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
Match Summary
Peekskill had a much better showing versus Mahopac this time around. Our Passing was much better, our Setting was much better, and we were Hitting with power, putting pressure on our opponent. We Served over 80%, and although we did put some pressure on, we’ll need to work on getting the first service in, consistently. Player of the match goes to Audrina Mendez, who was on fire! She got four kills, hitting from the front row and the back row. She played with determination, and ferocity!! Great job, Miss Mendes!!!
