California High School Volleyball - Newport Christian bounced by San Gabriel Academy
October 6, 2025: Newport Beach, CA 92660 San Gabriel Academy Eagles (San Gabriel, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Newport Christian Seahawks (Newport Beach, CA), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, San Gabriel Academy improves its record to 17-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Puget Sound Adventist (Kirkland, WA) to face the Sharks in a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. The Sharks go into the test with a record of 1-5. Puget Sound Adventist lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Northwest Christian (Lacey, WA)
The Seahawks now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Magnolia Science Academy for a Express test on Tuesday, October 14.
