The Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY) volleyball knocked off the host Walton Braves (DeFuniak Springs, FL), 3-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Lakers now possess a 23-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Bay Haven Academy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 7. Russell County will clash with a Buccaneers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY). The Buccaneers record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, Walton drops to 4-17 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Bay (Panama City, FL) to battle the Tornadoes in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 7.
