The Islands Sharks football squad scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Groves Rebels to 2 in the Sharks non-league victory on Thursday.

The Sharks now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Hampstead for a AAAA Region 3 battle on Friday, October 15. Islands will play a Phoenix squad coming off a 50-12 league win over Beach (Savannah, GA). The Phoenix record now stands at 6-1.

Coming up next, the Rebels play the Windsor Forest Knights (Savannah, GA) in a AAA Region 3 battle, on Friday, October 15. Groves will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 12-6 league win over Liberty County (Hinesville, GA).
