October 7, 2021: Natchitoches, LA 71457 The Northwood Gators football team (Lena, LA), was beaten 47-18 in Thursday's league challenge with the host St. Mary Tigers (Natchitoches, LA)
The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Block (Jonesville, LA). The Bears come into the 1A District 3 challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Block was beaten by Logansport (Logansport, LA), 40-0, in a league challenge.
The Gators now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montgomery for a 1A District 3 challenge on Friday, October 15. Northwood will meet a Tigers team coming off a 44-18 league loss to LaSalle (Olla, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
