Texas High School Football - Aledo smashes South Hills

The Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) football routed the visiting South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX), 68-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Bearcats face the Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, October 14. Aledo will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 6-0 record after their 23-16 league win over Ryan (Denton, TX).

The Scorpions (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Brewer (Fort Worth, TX). The Bears enter the 5A-1 Region I District 3 bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Brewer was overwhelmed by The Colony (The Colony, TX), 30-7, in a league bout.
