The Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades football squad scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Boyd County Spartans to 28 in the Renegades league victory on Friday.

The Renegades now possess a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Niobrara/Verdigre for a D2 District 4 (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 14. Chambers/Wheeler Central will face a Cougars squad coming off a 58-16 league loss to Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 1-6.

Coming up next, the Spartans face the Ainsworth Bulldogs (Ainsworth, NE) in a D2 District 4 (8 Man) battle, on Friday, October 14. Boyd County will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record.
