The Breaux Bridge Tigers football team (Breaux Bridge, LA), was beaten 34-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Cecilia Bulldogs (Cecilia, LA)

The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA). The Gators come into the 4A District 5 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Beau Chene was dropped by Livonia (Livonia, LA), 50-26, in a league game.

The Tigers now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Kinder for a non-league game on Friday, October 14. Breaux Bridge will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 36-32 league loss to Jennings (Jennings, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-5.
