The Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers football team (Buckhannon, WV), was tipped 35-34 in Friday's league challenge with the host Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV)

The Minutemen (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Marion (Farmington, WV). The Huskies come into the Big Ten challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, North Marion nipped Elkins (Elkins, WV), 44-7, in a league challenge.

The Buccaneers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Hill for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 14. Buckhannon-Upshur will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 26-13 league win over Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-3.
