Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE), 58-6 in a league test.

With the triumph, Central Valley improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Twin Loup (Sargent, NE) to confront the Wolves in a D2 District 7 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 14. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 6-1. Twin Loup won 30-14 in their recent league test against Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE)

With the loss, Burwell drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Overton (Overton, NE) to confront the Eagles in a D2 District 7 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 14. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-6. Overton lost 56-20 in their recent league test against Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE)
