October 7, 2022: Clarion, IA The Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS football team (Clarion, IA), was ripped 56-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Spirit Lake Indians (Spirit Lake, IA)
The Indians (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Jaguars come into the 2A District 2 challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Valley trounced Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA), 36-0, in a league challenge.
The now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove for a 2A District 2 challenge on Friday, October 14. Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS will meet a Falcons team coming off a 42-19 league win over Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 6-1.
