Clarksdale Wildcats (Clarksdale, MS) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the visiting Gentry Rams (Indianola, MS), 20-14 in a league test.

With the win, Clarksdale improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Yazoo City (Yazoo City, MS) to confront the Indians in a 4A Region 3 test on Friday, October 14. The Indians go into the test with a record of 0-7. Yazoo City lost 42-20 in their recent non-league test against Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS)

With the loss, Gentry moves to 5-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Senatobia (Senatobia, MS) to confront the Warriors in a 4A Region 3 game on Friday, October 14. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 6-2. Senatobia won 52-9 in their recent league game against Greenwood (Greenwood, MS)
