The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Edison Eagles (Edison, NJ) and the host St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ), observed Edison's football squad thwart St. Joseph by a count of 42-23.

The Eagles now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host South Brunswick for a non-league contest on Friday, October 14. Edison will play a Vikings squad coming off a 24-7 non-league loss to Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 3-3.
