Pennsylvania High School Football - Franklin Regional smashes Norwin

October 7, 2022: North Huntingdon, PA 15642

The Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA) football routed the host Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA), 35-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA) in a WPIAL AAAAA Big East bout, on Friday, October 14. Franklin Regional will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 42-12 non-league loss to Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA).

The Knights (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against North Allegheny (Wexford, PA). The Tigers enter the WPIAL AAAAAA Tri-County Five bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, North Allegheny walloped Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA), 20-6, in a league bout.
