The Highland Huskies football team (Riverside, IA), was ripped 48-8 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA)

The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Stars come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Starmont was ripped by Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA), 38-24, in a league challenge.

The Huskies now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pekin for a A District 5 challenge on Friday, October 14. Highland will meet a Panthers team coming off a 42-7 non-league loss to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.
