In Friday's league match, the visiting Lancaster Tigers football squad scored a big 55-9 victory over the Tyler Lions.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Forney Jackrabbits (Forney, TX) in a 5A-1 Region II District 7 match, on Friday, October 14. Lancaster will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Jackrabbits enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 46-7 league loss to Longview (Longview, TX).

The Lions (1-5) will now prepare for their match against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Wranglers enter the 5A-1 Region II District 7 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, West Mesquite was crushed by McKinney North (McKinney, TX), 34-14, in a league match.
