The Union City Soaring Eagles walloped the visiting Lincoln Lions football team by a count of 48-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Union City upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Soaring Eagles travel to Columbia (Maplewood, NJ) to encounter the Cougars in a Super - Freedom White outing on Saturday, October 15. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 1-5. Columbia won 13-3 in their recent league outing against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ)

With the loss, Lincoln moves to 3-3 on the season. The Lions host Hoboken (Hoboken, NJ) to encounter the Redwings in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 15. The Redwings go into the outing with a record of 2-3.
