The Merrimack Valley The Pride (Penacook, NH) football defeated the visiting Manchester West Blue Knights (Manchester, NH), 23-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the The Pride face the Belmont-Gilford Red Raiders (Belmont, NH) in a Division II - East bout, on Saturday, October 15. Merrimack Valley will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Red Raiders enter the bout with a 6-0 record after their 35-14 league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, NH).
