October 7, 2022: Columbia, MD 21046 The St. John's Cadets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Hammond Golden Bears to 1 in the Cadets non-league victory on Friday.
The Cadets now possess a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop O'Connell for a game on Wednesday, October 12. St. John's will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Virginia Academy (Ashburn, VA). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.
The Golden Bears (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Long Reach (Columbia, MD). The Lightning enter the game with a 9-1 record. In their last game, Long Reach nipped Glenelg (Glenelg, MD), 2-1, in a league game.
