Illinois High School Soccer - Quincy held off by Hannibal
October 7, 2022: Quincy, IL 62301 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Hannibal Pirates (Hannibal, MO) and the host Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL), saw Hannibal's soccer squad get by Quincy by a margin of 1-0.
The Pirates now sport a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Moberly for a North Central Missouri test on Tuesday, October 11. Hannibal will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Calvary Lutheran (Jefferson City, MO). The Spartans record now stands at 2-12.
With the loss, Quincy drops to 11-7 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Normal West (Normal, IL) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 12. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 15-4. Normal West won 1-0 in their recent league test against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL)
