The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Discovery Spartans (Lake Alfred, FL) and the visiting Avon Park Red Devils (Avon Park, FL), saw Discovery's volleyball squad beat Avon Park by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Discovery upgrades its record to 13-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Lakeland Christian (Lakeland, FL) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Lakeland Christian won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Seffner Christian (Seffner, FL)
