California High School Volleyball - Del Norte tips Pleasant Valley

Del Norte Nighthawks (San Diego, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Nighthawks clash with the Coronado Cougars (Henderson, NV) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 7. Del Norte will attempt to advance on its 22-5 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 13-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Centennial (Las Vegas, NV).

With the loss, Pleasant Valley drops to 12-10 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, October 7.
