October 7, 2022: Farmington, NM 87402 La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Bears clash with the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 match, on Wednesday, October 12. La Cueva will attempt to advance on its 15-0 season record. The Matadors come into the match with a 11-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).
With the loss, Piedra Vista drops to 5-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Mustangs in a 5A District 2 match on Tuesday, October 11.
