St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY) backers left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Lancers battle the Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs (Rochester, NY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 8. St. Mary's will attempt to better on its 26-3 season record.

With the loss, Nichols drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Sacred Heart Academy (Buffalo, NY) to battle the Sharks in a Monsignor Martin match on Monday, October 17. The Sharks come into the match with a record of 21-11.
