The Brick Memorial Mustangs football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Freehold Boro Colonials to 14 in the Mustangs non-league win on Saturday.

The Mustangs now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lacey Township for a non-league battle on Friday, October 13. Brick Memorial will play a Lions squad coming off a 38-6 league loss to Middletown North (Middletown, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 2-5.

Coming up next, the Colonials play the Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 14. Freehold Boro will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Scarlet Fliers go into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 27-6 non-league loss to Central Regional (Bayville, NJ).
