October 7, 2023: Newtown, PA 18940 The Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) football edged the host George School Cougars (Newtown, PA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Delcastle Technical Cougars (Wilmington, DE) in a 2A District 1 bout, on Friday, October 13. Caravel will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 30-6 league loss to Newark (Newark, DE).
The Cougars (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Capital Prep (New York, NY). The Lions enter the non-league bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Capital Prep was nudged by The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ), 58-0, in a non-league bout.
