In Saturday's league match, the host Lower Merion Aces football squad scored a close 13-7 victory over the Penncrest Lions.

In their next game, the Aces clash with the Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA) in a Central match, on Friday, October 13. Lower Merion will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Fords enter the match with a 1-5 record after their 42-14 league loss to Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA).
