Illinois High School Soccer - Waubonsie Valley nudges Lemont
October 7, 2023: Aurora, IL 60504 Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Waubonsie Valley will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 15-1 record after their 0-0 non-league Oswego East (Oswego, IL).
The Lemont HS now have a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Forest for a South Suburban challenge on Monday, October 9. Lemont will confront a Bengals team coming off a 1-0 league win over Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 13-4.
