October 7, 2023: Machias, ME 04654 The Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) soccer bounced the host Machias Bulldogs (Machias, ME), 4-0 in Saturday's league bout.
With the win, Penobscot Valley moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Howlers host Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME) to battle the Lynx in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 11. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Mattanawcook 3-3 in their recent non-league bout against Washburn (Washburn, ME)
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Narraguagus Knights (Harrington, ME) in a Class D - North bout, on Tuesday, October 10. Machias will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME).
